Update for 2009

Ok...ok..ok... I have this huge problem of procrastinating my work or rather my things to do, for example blogging nieh....

Firstly, since is still January 2009, so I'm wishing all peeps out there, Happy New Year 2009!! Ok..agak basi wish ini kan??

But this is not....Happy Chinese New Year to all Chinese citizens of the world...May the OX year bring joy and happiness to all of us...yes, we all badly need this...

On another note, I'm blessed with the bonus and ang pows I received from my employer for the 2008 effort. Thank you Mr L. Despite your long winded talk that I have to endure daily, you are one compassionate and very considerate boss that I've work with....note - nie bukan mode ampu yaaa...this is real...

I ended last year not with a bang but acceptable within my expectation...let's see apakah achievement aku in 2008 and what I like/dislike about 2008.

- I was promoted...yayy....it's one of the best news...comes with great perks and boleh terima pakai gaji, though I think comparative I should get more. But it's ok, aku nie jenis - takpa, just take it and see where it brings you...

- I moved to my own place. Technically it's still owned by the bank, but heck..I still call it my home. I've manage to put decent props to make it a home and also some stuffs that was left by my sister helps too... :)

- I bought myself a home theatre set. Yeee...saya seorang yg mementingkan audio yg fantastic when watching anything on the screen. But the TV is still the old square box but in good condition. Berangan2 nak LCD which was supposed to be 2009 capex but I diverted to something else... which I will tell later, it's a another different story which shows how fickle minded I can be....

- My work wardrobe increased to a more "canggih" a bit sbb asik kena kutuk je kann...and that means it's burning the pocket....sighh...

- Ouih...HSBC offered me a VISA card which I proudly manage to not screw up like I did 10 years ago...It does come in handy when I needed something online...eeee...kalau mak aku tau..mati aku!!! I made a promise after London that I will not hold any CC. heheheh...but mom, this is given, I just have to sign.... So how can I refuse???

- I was introduced to FB intensively and love it ever since because I met bunch of old friends from way back to my skool days...

- I managed to send my car for service on time. INI ADALAH SATU ACHIEVEMENT OK!!!

- I increased my baju kurung collection for the lazy days at work that needed me to wear stockings....leceh oooo...and remember this entry...damn!!! YES, THIS IS AN ACHIEVEMENT TOO!! I use to have only a pair a year, obviously made just before Raya, how sad is that....

- I thought I reconciled with my eldest sister after our family trip to CH in August....but then it was back to not in talking terms not long after that. But this time, I tried talking to her, but dia jual mahal...suka hati laaaa labu.... I'm sorry sis, for whatever mistakes I did, u have yours too.

- I went to Cameron Highland with my family and Singapore with my friends. Had a fabulous time there, courtesy of none other than my sistah down south.

- I gathered some new friends and few have remain as good friends. I like that...I like...

- Mom have shown tremendous improvement in health with the new doctor treatment. Happy..happy sesangat....

- My youngest sister followed her husband to France for his latest posting which means I'm going there for a visit....yeee...saya amat sukaaa.....

- I'm financially a bit stable....yes...saya amatlah screwed up dalam department ini. Walau berapa pun gaji saya....balance sheet saya tetap topsy turvy, tapi masih ditahap moderate..hahahah

- I was an emcee during the company's annual dinner and I think I did a pretty decent job..maybe I should do this part-time...heheheheheh I'm quite impressed that I've overcome my public speaking phobias.

- And how could I forget, the double winning of Man U....yeahhh...gloat...gloat...I'm still gloating... tak sia2 aku begitu follow football tahun itu...

- Ouh..not forgetting, I went for a medical check-up courtesy of the boss and found out that my spinal bone is thinning...wtf??? aku pun tak paham...but I'm now put on a maximum calcium tablets and also on weight management. Well technically, now I'm generally healthy but 5 years down the road, if I don't start loosing weight now to a more decent looking numbers, I'm on a high risk of getting all sorts of penyakit laaa basically....sigh... so yes I've been going to the gym and lost 1.8kgs as of 26.12.08. We'll see how much I melt in my next appointment .

Basically that's what I feel/see/enjoy/sad about 2008. Really hope I can survive 2009 or at least still have a job... scary yo!!!

Ouh...did I mentioned that moi mom said since I'm going to be 34 this year, so by 35 I must be hooked up. Poor mom...year after year she says that.... I'm still amazed at her positiveness...hahahaha....
