School holidays = Housekeeping's Nightmare

As all of you know how preparing for a party is a nightmare, same goes when it comes to school holiday break, it's a nightmare to all housekeepers. Revenue for the hut but hell break loose for us... :(

All because we have some very inconsiderate Malaysian families coming and trying to perk the current bleak economy by travelling local. And spare not, you..yeah..you some Singaporean families who's high mighty kiasu.

But first, I just want to stress here the word is "some". So for those who's not in the "some" level, fret not and for those who's in the "some" level, on behalf of all housekeepers in town, we expect a lil' bit of consideration here. Yes, we..the ones that scrub that swirling wave bowls, make the cribs and many other tasks that are considered as demeaning and degrading job to others.

And the funny thing is, the room rate are cheap as hell but the demand are skyrocketing beyond seventh heaven!!

What fuss can this family do? I'll list down here one by one....

1. I know is "cuti-cuti Malaysia". So you are trying to make this trip as enjoyable as it was before when you had the cash riding high. Slump everyone in one tiny room. Obviously at the check-in counter you only brought you lil' kids and wife leaving behind troopers in the car which is in the car park. You stay 3 days 2 nights and all of a sudden we only see sea of white sheets in the room.... WTF???

Then your kids jump on the divan, it broke. Upon check-in, you have the effort to move the mattresses down but when you check-out you just could not be bothered, right?? What's more the broken divan you claim it was broke even before you took it down. So are you telling me, that all this while your troopers are sleeping in a hole with splints jutting out here and there?? Yeah..I bet you would put your kids in danger.... :(

2. Didn't the rates which you've agreed upon says, breakfast for 2?? Then why the farking hell you have your troopers in the breakfast counter claiming you were not inform on this??? Do we look stupid?? Do we not travel too?? It's universal, that all room rates comes without breakfast and even if they do, it's only for 2 farking people!!! PEOPLE PLEASEEE!!!! And then you make a goddamn big fuss and yes we ended up giving you the free meal and you can't even eat properly..everything else is on the floor except you!!!!

3. Next, you are on a holiday and yeahh..yeah...you follow the tips in TRAVEL GUIDE. Travel light.... And yeah..you stop there. But the SMART TRAVEL GUIDE did not ask you fools to hang you knickers on the lamp shades!!! I got freakin F9 for science but yet know that this may cause fire...It does not take a super genius to know this theory. And there's a reason why we don't allow hanging of anything on the sprinkler, all because the sprinkler it's there to save you when there's fire blazing and not when you are hot, and even if you do, we have this little trap on the wall which blows in cool air, if you must know. So people if you cannot afford the hotel laundry, bring spare clothes.

4. We move on to laundry service. Have you'll ever read the instruction? I'm very sure almost all hotels that have this service it says press # blaa..blaa..for your laundry to be collected. Even butler service rooms the butler has to be call. Is this so difficult? But no, you choose instead to leave the bag in the room and worst, with no laundry list. Then you come back at the end of the day, telling us, it's bloody common sense to send it down to laundry. HELLO PEOPLE!!!! This is the hideous trick in the world, if you can't afford it, then don't use this service. Have you ever heard of self laundry? This is KL people, our surroundings are fill with self-service laundrette. Just make an effort to google where.

And do you know that we serve hundreds of people daily and we are suppose to know and read their mind too right?? Righttttttttttttttttt...................

There's many more things "some" people do. To an extend we feel like we're no human, that we have no feelings....
